Showroom Policies

Delivery & Pickup

Delivery is arranged based on the size, type, and location of your order and is quoted separately.

• Local delivery is generally within 30 miles.
• Standard delivery includes blanket-wrapped transport and placement on the main level with reasonable access.
• Standard delivery does not include stairs, assembly, installation, or unsafe/tight access conditions.
• Additional services may be available and will be reviewed at the time of order.
• Delivery beyond a 70-mile radius may require direct shipment or customer pickup.
• Mikey's reserves the right to modify or decline delivery based on site conditions.
• Shipping, delivery, freight, assembly, and installation charges are quoted separately and are non-refundable once services have been performed or freight has been arranged.
• Mikey's drivers are not authorized to perform work outside the scope of scheduled delivery.

Customer Pickup

• Available by appointment.
• Unless noted otherwise, furniture is not boxed. Please bring blankets, cardboard, straps, and appropriate transportation.
• All merchandise must be inspected prior to leaving.
• Once merchandise has been accepted or leaves our premises, Mikey's is not responsible for cosmetic damage not documented at pickup.

Ordering & Payment

• Custom orders: 75% deposit; balance due at delivery or pickup.
• In-stock items: Paid in full prior to release.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, check (must clear before release), and Mikey's promotional gift certificates.
• All orders are reviewed and confirmed prior to placement.
• A custom order is considered placed once the required deposit has been received and the order has been submitted to the manufacturer. Purchasing, production, and freight arrangements begin at that time.
• Requests for changes, substitutions, or cancellations after an order has been placed are not guaranteed and are considered on an exception basis only. Approved changes may be subject to manufacturer approval, cancellation or restocking fees, freight or administrative costs, and repricing of the revised order. Requests involving products from a different manufacturer may require a separate order and pricing review.

Lead Times

Many items are made to order and may require 6–8+ weeks. Estimated lead times are provided at purchase but may vary due to production, freight, tariffs, or shipping conditions. Ask about quick-ship and in-stock products.

Product Representation

Photos, online images, samples, fabrics, finish chips, and display merchandise are intended as representations only.

• Natural materials vary in grain and tone.
• Fabrics, poly, finishes, textures, colors, and dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing processes, lighting, lot variation, or screen settings.
• Customers are responsible for confirming selections and dimensions prior to purchase.

Returns & Inspections

Please inspect all merchandise at delivery or pickup.

• Visible damage must be noted at delivery or pickup.
• Craftsmanship concerns should be reported within 3 days.
• Prompt inspection allows us to work with the manufacturer to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

Custom Orders

Custom and special-order merchandise is final sale once submitted to the manufacturer except for:

• Shipping damage
• Manufacturer defects
• Items not produced to agreed specifications

Approved resolutions may include repair, replacement (if not repairable), or credit, at Mikey's discretion.

If an approved order change is accepted by exception, Mikey's reserves the right to revise pricing, promotional offers, freight charges, lead times, and other order terms.

Non-Custom Items (Showroom Stock / Floor Purchases)

• Return requests must be made within 3 business days.
• Subject to approval, a 15% restocking fee, return freight, and inspection confirming merchandise is in new, unused, resalable condition.
• Floor models, display items sold as-is, clearance items, custom orders, and identified non-returnable items are not eligible for return.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply where available. Coverage is determined by the manufacturer and may not include freight, labor, service, assembly, installation, or transportation. Normal wear, misuse, improper care, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered. Approved warranty resolutions may include repair, replacement parts, replacement, or credit.

Storage

Pickup or delivery timing can be discussed at the time of purchase for in-stock merchandise. For custom orders, estimated lead times are provided when the order is placed, with pickup or delivery coordinated as the order nears completion.

We generally provide up to 14 days of complimentary holding for merchandise awaiting customer pickup or a prearranged delivery.

We understand that plans can change. Travel, unexpected circumstances, or delays in landscaping, and renovation projects can sometimes affect when customers are ready for their furniture. When approved in advance, we can accommodate extended complimentary holding of up to 30 days, subject to available storage space.

If your plans change after your order is placed, we simply ask that you contact us as soon as possible so we can coordinate a reasonable pickup or delivery timeframe.

Merchandise held beyond the agreed-upon pickup or delivery timeframe without additional arrangements may be subject to storage fees.

Pricing

We strive to provide fair, straightforward pricing based on current product, freight, and operating costs.

• Individual showroom, floor, and display pricing applies to the specific items quoted unless otherwise noted.
• From time to time, Mikey's may offer promotional or package pricing on a specific order. Such pricing applies only to the original order as quoted.
• Promotional or package pricing is not transferable to replacement items, exchanges, or subsequent orders, cannot be deferred or redeemed for future credit, and has no cash value.
• If an order is modified after placement and the change is accepted by exception, Mikey's reserves the right to review and reprice the order in its entirety. Promotional or package pricing previously offered may no longer apply.
• Product quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise noted in writing.
• Freight quotes are valid for 7 days due to carrier variability.
• Showroom and online pricing are subject to change until an order is placed and confirmed. Once confirmed, freight and delivery charges will not change unless order details or delivery conditions change.

Sales Materials & Samples

We offer in-store displays, fabric and poly samples, and digital catalogs. Product images and materials are for reference only and may vary from the final product.

Design Guidance

We provide complimentary design guidance for product selection and layout ideas. Customers are responsible for verifying final measurements, clearances, fit, placement, and site conditions. Design guidance is advisory only and does not replace site-specific planning.

Sales Tax

Applicable Michigan sales tax will be applied where required. Final tax determination is made at the time of sale.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions and related transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from showroom purchases or related services shall be resolved in Lapeer County or Northern Oakland County, Michigan.

Acceptance

Payment of a deposit, placement of an order, acceptance of delivery, or pickup of merchandise constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Showroom Terms & Conditions.
